Indonesian air force (TNI-AU) F-16As have arrived at RAAF Darwin for
Ex Elang Ausindo 13, the latest in the series of bilateral airpower
exercises between the TNI-AU and RAAF.
The week long Ausindo 13 began on Monday November 18 and runs through

eight RAAF 75SQN F/A-18 classic Hornets deployed to Darwin from RAAF

“Exercise Elang Ausindo will enhance the tactical fighter
interoperability between our two countries. During the exercise, the
TNI-AU will share knowledge and experience in training, including visual
manoeuvring and airborne intercepts,” WGCDR Pete Mitchell, CO of

“Flying missions during Ex Elang Ausindo is only one component of the
training that we expect to achieve, we will also dedicate considerable
